I need to replace trebles on some lures I use for beach fishing. These are typically 30-40g metal slices e.g halco twisty and so on. What size treble does that sort of lure take? Are owners the way to go there? Or should I go with single hook perhaps? Have never really replaced these before so would appreciate advice.

I do a fair bit of beach work with metals (halcos ect 15-40g) and always use a good quality treble such as Owner or Decoy of similar size when replacing.
Decoy do a whole range of Trouting Single or Jigging hook with the turned eye and I've had good success with Decoy singles of varying size depending on lure size and target species. I also usually replace the Halco 3 wire treble with a Decoy or Owner 2 wire at the same time for better action.
