Split rings

Hey

what sort (ie. size etc) of split rings do you use on your bream lures?

try and get size 0, 1 or 2's . The quality can vary quite a bit so have a close look at them. Different sizes to cover different lures as you can balance a lure to your liking with smaller/larger rings and hooks. An example is say size 0 or 1 ring with a size 10 treble on a sneaky scorpion or size 1 or 2 ring with a size 8 Mustad triple grip treble on a river2sea shed. I hope this helps

Yeah i use a size 1 split rings on most of my lures but it really depends on the size of the lure and trebles

I use the split ring 1s as well. I usually cant be bothered buying different sizes so i just use the same.

With all the intimate time Chris Lemess has been spending with Ira lately, he will be able to inform us of all the aspects of a split ring!:D
