Reel Mount

G'Day guys

Just looking through the good book " How to catch bream on lures and flies" and noticed on page 98/99 the release of a nice fish, just wanted to know how the reel is mounted to the rod in this picture? Maybe its an illusion but it looks as though it's not fatened to the rod.
Is it just me or is this a new locking system that is not shown in the picture.

I think it is just a hole in the blank b4 the grip goes on and it is counter sunk then the grip goes on with a hole so you can tighten it. i could be wrong,

Yeah they explained it in sportfish forums linked in that thread. Basically they screwed on the reel to the blank :p
