Perhaps you should alert your states DPI, as they are classified as a noxious pest...?

doesnt matter what u do, this 1 was past its sexual maturity, which means it would have bred, i know tilapia and if theyre in there, theyre in there, theres nothing you can do to stop them, there is no point trying to kill them off, it just wont happen, just accept it theyre here to stay, same thing has happened at somerset, thyre there, and not going anywhere, but some of the local fishos have realised... THEYRE AMAZING EATING!!! its the fish that feed the whole of africa and has for thousands of years... so catch them, kill them and eat them, but theyll never be wiped out

Ha 25-30cm try 30-40 now man n there is one bay that is just packed full of them, if you go down n throw a rock in the water they just boil up everywhere

im up for that hahahaha do u have any pics you could post? i dont care how i get them, but back in africa we caught them on earth worms so i was thinking a very slowly worked sandworm would work, and at somerset mates have caught them on worms too so theyre not much different... :P

Haha na man I don't generally take photos of talapia lol n yer I get them on either a red worm fly or a weed fly when u can see them sitting in the shallows

Hate to disagree but thats the worst attitude to have. Replace tilapia for rubbish for example. Its here there and everywhere YOU can make make a difference if you do the right thing.
