Yeh i can help,
Go light on the first coat!!!:D :D
Good luck!!!
What colour are you painting it?
Aquamarina is the name of the colour. Similar to the teal in the RMG sticker. It is an opel colour. Really cool and bright. Plus it goes really well with our sponsors logo

I'm in there boots and all, don't you worry  I'm letting Mim do all the fine work and following her lead on the rough stuff
Hi JP, Mim,
Just got myself a old Sea Hunter dinghy and was thinking of painting my boat in summer as well. Does it need to be a special paint to put on a boat? Can you briefly describe the process of painting the boat? It sure makes the boat look alot newer and nicer.
Hope you guys finish in time for Mandurah. Cheers!

Yogi. its a 3 step process really, assuming you've got a previously unpainted hull:
First get hold of a good ally cleaner to get rid of all the old salt residue and general grunge.
Second it needs a good etch primer for good adhession
Last, top off with a couple of coats of 2 pack paint.
Easy as that;)
Sounds simple enough Craig. ;o) I might give it a good this summer. Hmm... what colour should I paint it... Blood Red? Bright Yellow or Gloss black. There's always something to do to your boat huh. Cheers!
