Quick session at Docklands yesterday morning & this Afternoon

Hi all,

My first post on this forums. Went to Docklands yesterday morning to have a quick session before work. Fishing at North Wharf and the water has clear up a bit (Was at Docklands Monday morning and the water level is so high and mucky). Caught one bream about 30cm and Plenty of undersize bream. All fish released for fight another day :)

went down to docklands for an hour this afternoon and hook up this bream about 28-30cm.

Just a quick question, is this a Black bream? Seem like its color is a bit lighter then the black bream and the fin at the bottom is in white color instead of black.

Its a black bream i reckon. Good to see the water clearing and fish still around - did you catch any on lures?

Thanks Cortinaboy :) Coz sometimes when i put the fish side by side, i found that some bream has lighter color and looks a bit in green color under the sun, some bream might have a yellow line on the bottom fin but not the anal fin and some are white bottom fin and some are black, a bit confuse coz i am new to bream fishing.

I caught them on prawns, havent hook up a bream on lure yet, still learning to fish on lure, tried some hb (strik pro micro vibe) but no luck, need more practice :(

Thank you Piscateur. Went to Dock with my friend again today from 10:30 am - 5:00 pm, a lot of nibble. Pull one bream around 28cm and plenty of undersize bream again from 10-23CM. Also caught a Trevally and once small pinky. The Trevally is pulling very hard and keep running towards underneath of the pier. Got stuck on the pylon when the first time it hook up, caught him on the 2nd cast (need to reel in quickly before he went underneath again), very fun on the light gear! Dont have a chance to take a photo on the pinky due to my friend throw it back too quick :(
