i like the Squidgy jig heads. not only due to the large range that they have. but i LOVE the little wire hook/barb on the base of the jig head that is used to hold your plastic on without distorting the shape of your plastic like some bulkier ones do. ;)

But doesn't it damage the sp every time you pull it out. Its still good in range.
I can't remember but I think owner produces jig heads that have a curling wire. It helps the sp last longer.

Too true!
The bad thing about squidgy jig heads they can be bent out or break really easily.

squidgy, purely based on price. $4.25 from big W for a pack of 12 heads, every day of the week. Also if BIG W dont have the ones you want, take a photo and all the big online stores will match the price if you show them the advertised price.

i've been using the squigies of late......but doesn't mean i really like them

1 - they are cheap
2 - you get heaps in a pack

BUT

that stupid little keeper hook is annoying!!! it slices up the back of plastics like crazy

Nitro jigheads are made with Owner hooks lol.

My votes for Nitro, super sharp and yet to let me down + the soft-plastic keeper thing works extremely well.

squidgies hooks let me down when i used them once, i make my own now on gamas :) the keeper is made of lead so if i'm using delicate plastics i can fold it down with my fingermail, cheers

i had my first TT jighead fail on me last night, got it snagged so tried to bust my 4 lb leader off but broke the hook instead. it was the standard and not the heavy so i think i will be buying the heavy guage ones from now on.

TT's, Nitro, Owner, Gama and Squidgy finesse heads for me. Absolutely hate the standard round head Squidgy heads, bend out a little to easy for my liking yet the finesse heads haven't suffered the same problem  But I have snapped a couple of TT's and the like over the years, mind you that's after alot of re-use and fish
