G'day everyone
A freind of mine is looking at getting a Diawa IMX6 1-4lb custom design rod $160 and a Diawa caprice 1500 reel $115 matched with 4lb fire line for his bream fishing any thoughts on that?
cheers Matt

I'm sure that will be a nice outfit. Daiwa make good stuff and it lasts well. I'm still using my Daiwa GraphLite GL12 6' 6" spin rod that I bought way back in the early 80's.

Is that the custom Procyon (sp?)??
I saw one today and they are pretty sweet, ideal for Bream spinning:D but I only saw the 6' one - they had nothing longer.
I'm not familiar with the reel as I use Okuma's for my Breamin' - does the job for me;)

G'day every one
chris is getting it mike and i think it was one of those custon rods
cheers matt
I too recently bought a Kastor 1500 as a backup reel and I am so far impressed with it. The new Hardbodyz range from Daiwa is fairly good. I had a look at the Capricorn which is the high end model (well as high as they go!) and was impressed with it.

I dont know anything about the reel that your friend is looking at but I know he will love the rod :)
