Thinking about practising a Bimini Twist for Barramundi.
Just wondering if anyone else uses this when fishing heavier lines.
Is this the best knot I should be learning or should I have a look at trying a different knot?

great knot, we use them on lines of up to 50lb braid and 30lb mono
it gets used for: jigging, trolling, plastics, bottom fishing, floating, spinning and holds up really well...highly recommend it :D :D :D

I used them and plat's when I used to fish for billfish and tuna, they are a 100% knot. I like the plat better of the two. We were adding 80lb to 200lb leaders to 50lb line on fully rollered rods.
For Barra a Uni or Slim beauty would probably suffice.
