snapper season opening day

Fished in some horendous condition tuesday,

glad to see the snapper season open again...

This one went over 12kg, 100cm long and ate a white 80g lucanus jig in nearly 90ft of water...

great fun, and a nice way to christen the new 3500HD Certate.....

I dont think 12kg of snapper is ever a little fella. They do get them bigger in SA, but I reckon most blokes will take a 12kg snapper as a big fish :)

ohh i know a 12kg snapper a HUGE and anyone would be extremely happy with that but down there they get to 20kg+
if i caught a 12kg snapper i would be stoked

lol 5kg is my pb in PPB melb. infact 5kg is my pb full stop! lol only a pinkie by SA standars :D :o
