new rod

I have just started fishing lots and i was just wondering a good rod from about50-$100 all suggestions welcome

hey fishcatcher i am far from an expert but i have just bought a shimano stella 6'6" and it is a great rod and was recommended to me as i am only a novice. although it is just above your price range at $110, i think it is definitely worth it.

Another popular starter rod that's a little cheaper is the Shakespeare Synergy. More of a HB rod, but worth a though. It's also a little cheaper than the Stella.

other rods from Daiwa are the Procaster S ~$70
or an Abu Morrum Braid which is wat I got $85
(the abu is not 2.1m but 1.95m or 6'6")
