Hi al glad to be on line here looks a great forum. im im 58 retired with a bum leg havent been into the fishing game for over 30 yrs boy has it all changed use to do a lot of breaming around the oyster leases at greenwell pt,in those days it was prawnsor worms my god wat u can use now i want to try the plastics dont know how ill go but in for a penny in for a pound im going down to sussex inllet in 4 weeks for a couple of weeks anyone know the area would welcome any advice on spots and baits and lures damm id better sign of here as i was only going to say hi

Welcome to BreamMaster thedodger - you'll find pretty much all the info on techniques you'll ever need to know on Bream Spinning in these forums - just search for what you want :)

As for Sussex, I usually drive straight past heading to Conjola :D but all the usual techniques should work well - just think of where you used to catch them with bait (or the structure) and start from there.

Normally I tell someone starting out on plastics to keep your retrieve slow with tiny little hops along the bottom, throw in a few pauses between hops and you should be on the money ;)
