Looking at purchasing a new shock / water proof Olympus and wondered if anyone had any experiences with online stores. The prices seem pretty good to be doing it any other way, but I have no experience with any of them so wondered which ones were best.

B&H
DWI
Digital Camera Warehouse

Are all good. However you have to take in to account some are Aus stock and some are grey market imports. So if you have warranty claims you need to send back to where you purchased from, so read the warranty details carefully.

Have purchased from B&H in the US personally before and haven't had an issue.

Cheers,
Paul

Have used DWI before - was all good but recommend e-mailing them to check they have the model you want in stock before making your credit card payment. They will then check with their warehouse in HK.

I think its the same mob I used for me Sony HD Video Camera. Is an Australian website but everything comes from HK. I got and extra upgraded battery, HDMI Cable and bag for a better price than I could have just got the camera for in Aus.

I did think it was coming from Aus when I ordered it though.

Very happy in the end.

cheers

I bought an FT2 from Digital Cam. W/house... Real good service and price but with any online shops, best to check whether the item's in stock first.
