hey mike,

I currently use a stella rod with a capricorn2000 and it's a sweet lil outfit.
Flicks lure and softies all day no worries and handles fish well too.

It's my first dedicated bream rod and was what I could afford at the time, I've found that the short handle is one thing that I will always make sure I have on a rod after using this.

I also have a stradic rod and a thunnus rod from the starlo/miller range.
both are nice to use when targeting differnt species.

Mind you anyday now I'm pickin up a strudwick 6ft 1-3kg TPS :D now that is a sweet rod!!!

Cheers,
Dave

yeah good choice Mike.

I have the EB30 on the stradic and the EB60 on the thunnus
Although I wished I'd got the EFS models.

Very nice reels indeed.

Cheers,
Dave

Hi Mad Mike

By new stella rod you mean the steve starling stella spin?

They are an excellent rod i have a little diawa regal x 1500c i put platypus super 100 on. should stick some 4lb spider on the other spool.

The rod (SS stella) i found nice and lite casts like a dream. probably more suited to a lure heavier than 3gms so the 35's dont quite get the distance. but great with laser pros and something arounf 5gm.

Also have a look at the diawa heartland x 6ft 6 very nice rod. they around the same cost $120

Cheers

That is probably
Frank O'Reilly's Sports
869 High St
Thornbury, VIC, 3071

They used to be a good shop when I lived in Melb in the 80's/90's.

thats the one

dont be put off by the danger explosives sign on the front. the right side of the shop is guns, knifes and explosives the left side loads of fishing stuff.

If its isnt displayed just ask they usually have it siting out the back.

Good advice
Price
Etc

Hi Evan

Not sure it they do.
ring em or fax them get in contact with them and see if they will send one in a PVC tube. Failing that can you try a Diawa dealer over in the west.

How about a holiday n Vic? :D

Cheers
