do the lowrance units from USA use metric units on all units or they employ the crappy imperial/metric scam that humminbird use depending on if you buy a usa or international version.

i really like the older LCX and LMS units and they are hard to get in australia.

No, they are both metric and imperial. I bought a brand new LCX38cHD from the states and landed it here for $1600AUD. 8 months later it filled with water. you will have warranty but you have to deal with the place of purchase and that place has to be a recognized Lowrance dealer, so basicly no ebay and your right.

I'm still well in front as this unit retailed here for $3500AUD.
