It's known amongst anglers as "the puddle" and let me just say that
Lake Illawarra proved to be a very tough puddle to catch bream in on sunday!
12 kayakers entered for a grand total of no legal bream, a big effort was put in by all the yakas who fished till the death, the prize money will jack pot at Tuross so hope to see you all there.
42 boating teams took to the water, with only 29 legal bream weighed in, 5 of these fish were caught by Mark Crompton and Glenn Ross of team
Lox Rods, a massive effort as they were the only team to fill their bag limit with an impressive weight of 2.250kg. As team Lox Rods have already made the cut for the Grand Final, Team Deans Bait and Tackle, Damien Skeen and Wayne Skeen qualify after round 7.
The Culburra Bait and Tackle/Hobiecat Australasia Big Bream was caught by Andrew Hancox of team Chew On This, a nice fish at .890kg.
