It's a DohDohDohDohfight alright and I'm staying right out of it.
It's basically 7 pages of inane crap between a bloke who likes the product, some who are sponsored by it, and a heap of site bosses who have the knickers all knotted over the product (whew all that and I never mentioned BD or SF (opps) :D )

QA, not sure if you are referring to this site in general or just Samurai's comments. Personally, I find this site one of the best on the web. It's an oasis in a desert of personal attacks and petty arguments.

By the way, for those who don't know what a bushido is (I didn't), check out http://mcel.pacificu.edu/as/students/bushido/bindex.html

Very Unprofessional from the start, considering the DohDohDohDohfight thats taken over they should be most disappointed in themselves.

Hey guys,
Is someone going to cough up the name of the site so we can all have a look at what y'all are talking about?

Jay it was on Sportsfish (http://www.sportsfish.com.au/) in the tackle section. Dunno if its still there it was locked a week or so ago & may have been removed. Never read so much dribble in my life.

wonder why I stopped mooderating for sportsuckers all that time ago and never visit there anymore.

It was once a good site - that Starlo got Til Martinello & I to help develop from scratch as it started out as Starlo's own Fishoz, before he sold it and it became sportsuckers.

Sadly - with such things - the rot usually starts @ the top and filters on down thru the whole barrel of apples.

I'm glad I made the decision to leave & left when I did and stayed away. It surprises me that other 'industry' luminaries choose to support the site, but then ya get that!

Cheers!

Trouty,
You are well travelled mate. Thanks for the history lesson, it's always interesting to see where a lot of these sites come from. It's a shame Starlo isn't available on the net more often, but as we've discussed, it's never easy for a guy in his position.

No one can afford him these days:D
