search for an outboard wrecker in your area as they do exist... you will likely need to get the exhaust tube with that short leg and the intake water tube etc as well so remember that before driving off from the wreckers.... I have seen rebuilt 1995 outboards for 2500 from dealers so it may be cheaper to just get another motor and sell yours

If I cant get another leg, then I may have to sell the engine. My current engine has 0.3 hrs since rebuild and that was all me yesterday for its first test drive, so if I can, I would like to keep power head and the s/steel prop.

You might be better off getting the transom raised 5". An ally welder should be able to do that for $200 - $250.

You willn't find a short shaft motor or leg in that size. They only made long shafts that I know of.

before I say something stupid, Im new to boats, etc, I dont know whats what, just what Im told.

My cousin has found another leg. My original one was a 25", I needed a 20", we have got a 20" jonno leg, they are supposedly the same.

25" is extra long shaft and 20" is a long shaft and 15" is a short shaft.
