just purchased my 1st pack of soft plastics today (charlie brewer sliders Motor oil with orange tails)
and on closer inspection i found that where the colour changes at the tail
30% of the plastics have a split almost halfway through the join
ive read how easy it is to lose the tails to blowies but this problem would make it more likely
is this a production fault or normal ,because 30%seems a high proportion

Mate, I'd be taking them back.
Never had that problem b4.

We have found the same thing with some of the atomics. We have taken them back too. Not a problem, but it kinda puts you off buying them again.

might stick to the single colour ones the join is obviously the weak point

had the same problem with the sun shrimp and the orange shrimp
not 30% but enough to make you wonder if its worth the bucks:( :(
Its certainly not a common problem, I have been using Sliders now for ages and have purchased more packs of them than any other make. In that time I have only over had one packet with that problem (pack of 3" Black/Chartreuse Tail). Unfortunately it was part of an order direct from Charlie Brewer so sending it back was more hassle than it was worth.
Remember, you can always heat up a thin bladed knife and melt the split back together, or even use a bit of supaglue.
Cheers
Matt
