Hi all,

I haven't used lures for bream before but can't wait to have a go. I would consider my self a resonable caster and would able to get lures in fairly close to snags. What are my chances of getting into some bream on my first go??? And also what would a good bream spinner expect to catch??? I live in tassie and i read that bushy and starlo caught something like 70 fish in 5 hours!!!!!!! I have watched their video so i have some idea of what techniques to use.

What is your PB in a day as far as numbers of fish go??

Thanks
Eddystone

Starting out i'd be lucky to get one fish per session - once i got technique sussed though, my best is 18 c&r in 2 hours in Perth.
I don't count undersized fish :D
Geez i'm jealous eddy - I've heard you've got some classic untouched breamin down there ... Mmmm 3kg bream...

Hi,
The sky's the limit in Tassie once you sort out your technique. My best session was in the Derwent,Tas when I caught/released 25 with none under 800gm approx and four over the old fashioned 3 pound mark. You'll kill that once you find a technique that works for you.

Bream heaven mate. Another spot I would love to visit.

So many fish, so little time.

In a big session over summer on the Parra River over 80 Bream come aboard the old version of 'BREAM ON' :D

My personal favorite was the first day of the Forster B.R.E.A.M. competition, where my non-boater and I scored over 75 Bream.... don't you love it when that happens in a tourny :p :D :D

I know of two guys who had a great day out on the Parra, scoring over the magic 100 mark between them in a day

Cheers,
