Are these reels any good Pinnacle Alyssa CR

Hi Does anybody have this reel? if so How do you like it?
Is there anything bad about it ? How does it compare to the Capricorn? I'm not to sure if I sould buy it? Any information would be Great....

i love it when someone posts something thats new to me,gives me an excuse to go surfing.
they look a good product going by the website specs.not having seen them can't comment but look comparible,guess price would be a consideration.
something of interest though was this comparison between 2 reels,may give you something to work with.a lot of guys here use these 2 reels and going by the review the capricorn's the go.so another similar reel would have to match up to these points.

Hi Daiwa, I had a couple of pinnacle baitcasters a couple of years ago, found them quite good to use and never had any problems with them.

just one thing from the pic,
the plastic thingie on the bail arm looks cheap, i would wonder how it goes over time,

Yeh, the plastic guard looks suspect. I have the same deal on my Laguna 1000 but I just make the effort to check that the line is sitting in/on the roller after each cast :)

Try and find somewhere where you can buy it first! Pinnacle are upmarket Silstars that are rarely available. Don't even bother drooling until you've found somewhere to buy it.
