I've noticed a few of you logging on tonight, welcome to Bream Master. I recognise a few names, but some are new too.

We should have the full blown site up by Sunday arvo. I'm just working through a couple of coding issues at the moment.

Warren.

I'm glad you guys like it.

This is what I had in mind six months ago but didn't have the resources to do it. I set out to have the site at this level after 12 months, but thanks to your support it has been possible after 6.

We'll keep adding to it over the next few months.

I think having the likes of the Morgan's and other B.R.E.A.M guns in here will add to the appeal. I'll look after them with some advertising to make it appealing for them to pop in and say hello to you guys from time to time.

Warren.:p

Luv the site Warren!

Coming from a design background I love the graphics and layout, very fresh, clean and easy to read, and easy to navigate as well.

Good stuff!

PS Do you know what you're letting yourselves in for allowing Dave to be a moderator?? :D :D ;)

ahhhh, that's all I need. Another fishing site to spend more time surfing the web and less time working.

Good to see a few familiar names.

Warren, any particular reason for a minimum 3 characters for login name? Had to add an extra 't'.

Good job on the site Warren, we won't get in trouble for talking about Bream on soft plastics on this site which will be a welcome change.

Hi Matt,

Welcome to the new Bream Master. For those of you who are just getting going in the sport, Matt is our reigning national champion from the 2002 season.

Matt fished superbly to beat Tim Morgan, Ian Miller, Steve Starling and Andrew Howard in a closely fought final.

I'm sure he will bring a wealth of knowledge to the forums. Matt is also a partner in Nitro Fishing Technologies, the company producing the Nitro range of jigs.

I think I'd better find a better title for you than fingerling...LOL

First fish on a softie

Hi everyone,

I just logged on today and I feel great about it.

Anyway, last night I had my firstreal experimentation with the softies and I had some success. This is how it went.

We went to a local jetty in Bunbury and put the drop nets out. I soon worked out that there a few herring about. After remembering an article in DohDohDoh by Chris and Taro I tyed on a fat grub and started fishing. Because I had never given softies a real go before, it took me 5-10 minutes to find a likely retrieval. 10 minutes later i was bringin in a herring. The end result was two tail bite offs :( 6-7 big hits, 2 shaked out the hook while jumping in mid air:( and I fish:D.
