Went out on Juke from Hillarys on Thursday
Headed west with southerly winds
Five minutes in you knew it was going to be ROUGH
Rockin & rollin - survived for nearly two hours until we reached the destination west of Rottnest
Got up to cast & with the boat really rooling & lurching lasted two casts b4 I got the urge to up chuck
Boy was I crook, along with another five or six on board
Those hardy ones continued fishing landing a size dhui, a huge KG, several snapper & other assorted reef fish
Finally got the courage to do 20 miinutes fishing only to get a small flat head b4 I had to call it quits
Boy was I glad when when got back to shore nearly nine hours after leaving
Talking to the decky on the way back it was the old story - you should have been out yesterday it was beautiful
The skipper & decky were apologetic when we got back about the rough weather but it will take a lot to get me out in "da big ocean" again
I really luv da hard stuff under my feet!!
