Lake Cania Bass

Hey guys. I just been told that I'll be going to Lake Cania in like a week or fortnight. But, last time I went there all I got was a couple hits on surface and that was it. I've been using crankbaits in the arvo and didn't get a bump, while i had to watch my brother land 3 bass in the one session. So just before I go I just wanna see what I should do to get me a better chance off catching one:D..Also do bass hide in the same area as bream like fallen trees, shady points or do bass like the sunlight? Any help would be really appreciated.

If you have any of the AFC episodes i'm pretty sure they fish there so might learn a few spots from them. I have found a few links on youtube that might help you.

I get heaps of bass on Jackall Bros lipless crankbaits (TN Series) but they are very $$$, like $30, so I also use Kokoda G-Vibes that look almost identical and work just as well and cost around $7. Give them a go.

The bass fishing I did last week, I found that all the bass were in deep holes rather than the shallow structure. Not sure if it'll be the same in Lake Cania but if you have a sounder, look for some nice holes and give a few flicks.

hey mate
if i wee you id try jackals aswell(the tn series) or if you dont have the $$$ to spend buy kokoda g-vibes,but change the trebbles. small poppes in ealy morning and l8 aftenoon is also he way to go. also try kangoku shads because they suspend and they are great to use along the less step banks
