One For The Nikon Users

Just bought a new toy but cant seem to find how to reduce the pic size for posting or email.The programe it came with is ViewNX but I cant seem to open it with windows picture viewer which is how I usually size things.Any help would be appriciated.

Did you shoot in NEF (Nikon Electronic Format)= RAW or just JPEG?
Let me know.
I have the programme on my mac so will have a try for you.

I just usally right click on the photo and go to properties and then it should say "type of file" then below that it will say change and you go into that and chose whatever you want to open it with. Hope this helps.

What model Nikon did you buy mate P&S or a DSLR , I have the Nikon D40X and I can actually resize the pics on camera before I download them.

Its a DSLR D90.I didnt think of that I think I can resize on camera.

Yep pretty sure you can mate and the beauty of it is you don't lose any quality by doing it

I have that camera. alot of programs wont open the Nef (raw) format with it... I use a free propgram called irfanveiw along with the raw plugin. its quick and easy and you can batch resize.
