Hi guys and Gals,

Recently i have been fishing with lures for flathead and estuary perch since I live across the road from a lagoon with alot of shallow flats and am now into bream spinning. The only problem is that the lagoon gets let out into the ocean alot and I am wondering if this will affect the bream in any way plus can anybody give me advice on fishing the flats e.g. what lures and when is the best time etc.
cheers, Rhys

Rhys, what state are you in mate? (get some details into your profile:)

In WA the most successful flats lures so far have been the R2S gold sheds and Scorpion 52's and 68's in gold and brown trout.

Which lagoon are you talking about on the Central coast Bream Shark?

I've had some success in Wamberal lagoon previously.. I don't live on the central coast, but get up there quite a bit..

I mainly fish Terrigal lagoon but have only caught a few Bream in there. I also fish Avoca lagoon sometimes.
