G'day all,
Well I guess is was only a matter of time before the soft plastic bug bit and boy has it hit hard. Before that, I used to fish ANSA and would only use lures when trolling or to throw at feeding schools, but there was a short period there when throwing Mr Twisters at flathead was one of my favourite forms. From those first days on the sand banks, I slowly graduated to hard bodied lures for flathead, and in particular for trout when holidays came around, but it seems I've come full circle and have got back into the plastics again in a big way. So much so that I can't even remember the last time I used bait. Nowdays, the thing that gets me through those long hours at work is the knowledge that weather and spouse permitting, I'll be out on the weekends or on days off with a handful of small jigs, some micro jig heads and one of my own custom built outfits chasing bream in amongst any sort of structure I can find. I couldn't think of a better way to spend a day. Anyway, sorry to bore you all, but I do look forward to posting forums, picking up hints and advise and hopefully meeting up with a few of you for a day out on the water,
Cheers,
Billy K (Aquaholic)
