Just go back from Augusta and while I was there picked up a copy of the local paper (The Pelican Post)
Suprise suprise the letter to the editor was about poor Mr Price and how he was helping the community of Augusta and everyone aparently.
Quote ;"Recfish West an the Bream Fishing Tournament are proposing the cancellation of the last professional licence in the Blackwood River . The Perth based interests claim an inalienable right to the fish stocks in th BW without regard to the local population."Unquote.
It goes on with a lot of BS about how hard pro's work and the history of why the fish stocks are so low(3 pages) and how many fish more fish there are now in the Inlet.
The author goes on to say:
Quote;"If fish are not caught in large quantities then you would actually have an overstock in which are vying for there own food source would cause rapid depletion same fish. Fish would not attain to large sizes because food stockes would be low due to intense rivalry for food. Trevor Price told me that the bream stocks are on the increase and should be like they were in around five years from now. What he is doing by catching the ones he does is a FAVOUR TO THE ANGLER!."Unquote.
The author is a former pro who used to net the Blackwood also.
It really goes to show how uninfomed the pro's are themselves.
This really P%$#&% me off.
