i gotta say that it was my hardest comp ive taken part in. others were still nailing small fish but we couldnt even raise a scale. sorta shows that weeks of pre fishing doesnt put u in any advantage at all apart from knowing where the fish are. for my case it was gettin them to bite but they refused 99 percent of my casts:o
lets hope the murray can bring a few more postives.
cheers for the organisers and their efforts
well done

We were very happy with our result considering we caught 0 fish in the opening round. But as said by Shane it was a tough day we caught nothing all day until the last few hrs of the comp where we bagged out. I'm not sure if i look forward to the next round as it's not fun crossing the Mandurah estuary on some days, it's okay if you can fly across there like some lucky buggers:) A huge thanks to Craig and the team especially the sponsors for all the prizes.
Cheers

Certainly was a tough day on the water, a big congratulations to Peter De Groot and Oliver Seear who finally won the event. They have been hovering in thirds and fourths etc in just about all the Classics, goes to show that hard work (time on water) and perseverance pays off. Well done guys, thanks to Craig for another well run event and the sponsers who put up the great prizes.

I will post up who has qualified for the WA Grand Final later today - Steve has provided the link for the National Championship qualifiers.
Yep big ups to Pete and Oliver. As has been mentioned they have been extremely consistent and it is great to see them take out first place, especially on such a tough day.
Bring on Mandurah and some big angry fish. Thanks as always to Craig and the others involved in putting on these great events. I love tournament breaming even when I have a crap day and really appreciate being given the chance to compete in these events.
Cheers, Dror

Well done to Peter and Oliver. Good to see the Engel's going to a couple of consistant anglers.
Good to see consistant fields for the Classics as well. 42 teams both events is great for the sponsors. Can't wait for Mandurah. MMMMMMMM canals :D:rolleyes:
Cheers

Mate probably won't see the Skeeter until late May so it will be touch and go for Mandurah.
You will know when it has arrived as there will be a newsflash of a "madman loose on the Swan":D
Cheers

Your time will come mate im sure just make sure your kota cant move up and down on the plane or it might turn out like mine. Sewelly had me if he was going to where i was planning but luckily for me he pulled over at another location. Technically it wasnt lucky because we got no legals there anyway :D
Szarn agreed with me the boat trip to the first spot was the most entertaining part of the day and he caught both our legal fish....
