View Full Version : Searing Tackle Competition for March.
http://breammaster.com/images/damiki-logo1.jpg
This month we have $100 worth of give aways to a lucky winner.
The theme is simple, each member can post up their 2 best pics with a fish sporting a lure from any available through Searing Tackle.
Please be aware that all pics submitted in this competition may be used by BreamMaster or Searing Tackle in future BreamMaster promotions.
So with that now in place I'd like to thank Rob from Searing Tackle once again for choosing to put his faith and product with BreamMaster and it's members.
Happy snapping one and all.

Here is my entry.
Went out bush looking for some Redfin today. Started off by flicking plastics around and hooking into quite a few fish but kept on losing lures due to the snags and weed i was fishing through. And the bite shutdown, not even getting follows.
Decided to chuck on a hard body so i could work it just above the weed. Grabbed the Damiki Pac Mu-SP, clipped it on gave a little test swim and was really impressed in the way it sat tail up and slowly floated in the fresh water.
First cast was like a bullet straight into the blustery wind. Second cast....... bang........ first fish on this lure. Wasn't a big unit but still produced a good little fish second cast.
Kept on flicking the Mu the whole day and it pulled quite a few fish, including a good sized rainbow trout but unfortunately it shook the lure only a metre from the bank.
Overall a great lure, ripped it through the weed, bounced it into submerged rocks and branches and not a single snag up, love it. Next time i go chasing redfin it'll be the first lure i'll tie on. I'll be buying more of in the near future, if only there was a deep diving version, man that would be a cracking lure;);)
quality pics ;)
love the Mu's, they cast a mile :)

Thanks Mate, i aim to please.
Yeah the distance u can get out of these things even into the wind is incredible. Very impressive. You can cover a lot of ground with them.

Kool.
Nah i haven't tried the sinking, i love the whole slow float idea. haven't had good experiences with sinking HBs but looking at the pics it has singles so shouldn't snag up as much..... is the hookup rate affected?? Would putting W hooks make too great a difference to the weight?

Went for a fish with Liquidtension today around the lower reaches amongst the blowies, we moved around a fair bit and swapped alot of lures, ended up with 4 bream, 1 undersize pink snapper and 2 flathead, not our best session but hey it was a nice day to be outside

Lucky I had crushed down the barbs or I really would have had dramas getting it back but it came out quite easily, they are great lures and fish very well

Got bored sitting at home so I headed off down the road for a quick flick, found these hiding in the water, this is very quickly becoming my "go to" lure!
3 fish in under 10 mins on 4lb min line and leader.
