Yes we are blessed on the West Coast with the biggest Salmon in Aus, very nice fish Squidgee Man:eek:
A 8-10kg fish would make my day this year I reckon:D

The day of these pics me and a mate C&R over 30 salmon in 3 hours. We were getting that bored we broke out the bream gear with plastics for some fun. They were just in a massive frenzy.

Ill definitely be heading down. My best mate lives in Busso so as soon as they are on he lets me know and i head down. Ive found late April early May to be the best time in recent years. But things change. I'm sure everyone's ears are open for the reports.:) Im hanging to test out my new Shimano Aspire 4000.

Cheers mate.
Also anyone know when the pros will be no longer?
I've heard that the netters around Dunsborough were going to be bought out? I know last year they weren't allowed to net on weekends and public holidays to allow the rec fisherman a bit of a go.
Big change in their attitude last year as well and they were letting people cast into their nets I thought it was an excersise in trying to get the recs on their side:confused:
