Now let's see, I could've sworn that result changed markedly from the last time I looked. And there seems to be an awful lot of non posting new members who joined on the last couple of days of this comp and voted for the eventual winner.

Do I need to investigate this further or is there something someone would like to tell me...LOL

I introduced breammaster.com to my computer studies class. Is there anything wrong with that?? And
they didn't all vote for me as my votes didn't increase at a speed anymore than 'surferbream's votes did.

If the only reason they joined was to vote for you, then to me.......yes.

This, I thought, was meant to be for breamers to vote on the best bream.

I'm curious to know how many of the class fish for bream on a regular basis and how many will be posters to the site regularly as well??

Why are there so many similar names under the results for your fish ie. 71410 74101 71140 etc etc.

And how come you have three r's in luringbream now ???

I'm all for introducing new members, but I want to make sure surfer bream doesn't miss out unfairly.

I think you should just give the prize to surferbream coz i dont think luringbream/luringbrrream can pove himself.

I'm all for a bit of initiative, but Surfer Bream was a country mile in front with a day to go (and rightly so...).

I was surprised when I logged on and saw that Luring Bream had beaten him. A member PM'd me and pointed out the number of new members that had joined that day with no posts. And when I looked into who had voted, there was a large number of those new members who had voted for Luring Bream.

Now you don't have to be real bright to work it out.

I feel Surfer Bream deserves at least half the prize.

Surferbream's fish is awesome. I am happy for him to have the prize. I was just happy to make it in to the top 3.

I reckon cheating is just not on on breammaster so luringbream should be disqualified. I just dont get how people could do such a thing on such a great site:mad:

I dont think luringbrrrrrrrrream (:D ) will be too unhappy to miss out - that exact same picture was published in last Sunday's 'Sunday Telegraph' in their catch of the week section and won a Diawa ABS reel :rolleyes: :D

Give it to Surfer Bream, and if there are further disputes I don't mind sticking my hand up to take the prize myself..... no thanks are nessesary, it's the kind of guy I am :D

I'll look into it for you, I haven't disabled any logins. As for Surfer Breams score going up, I've checked both scores and his were all existing/posting members

Would either party object if we were to call it a tie ???

I'll organise a couple of prize packs and we'll be done with it.

This way I don't have to research the activity on these new members and I can get on with finishing the new online store.

By the way Dan, It's not a huge issue. Don't think your being shunned or anything, I was just curious as to the creativity employed....LOL

We are all here cause we like chasing bream. I just can help but feel that all the events surrounding the current FOM voting has turned our focus away from the this.

Lets all put it down to a learning experience and start chasing next month's FOM:)
