Can't see why it would be closed - nothing was mentioned by DEC when I was there the other day.
So I presume it is open as usual - if I get time I will drop past on Friday and/or Saturday to check - If I don't post saying it is shut then assume it is open.

Last time I launched there, there was a lot of roadworks going on. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Parking - yes & no
There is a number of bays available close to the ramp - when they are full you go across the road to the grassed area where there is plenty more.

I'll start off by saying I'm no boater so feel free to ignore everything I say :)
But there is a good sized car park at deep water point and 2 ramps from memory plus you get to work off the nerves with a bit of an blast over to the start. Keeping the speed limits in mind of course.
Then theres also the chance to check out Canning Bridge and the fwy flats for promising sigbs of life before the start.
Cheers

Have fun guys, pity I couldn't be there.
Ben and I tried the jetski ramp year ago but we picked the wrong Sunday. I think once a month they have a group gathering throughout all the Clubs and returning to the ramp was a nightmare, you are lucky to be able to squeeze through the jetskis, and the glares you get! Good luck.
I have a feeling all ramps will be have breamers e.g. Maylands, Belmont, Matilda Bay, Coode Street.
And if you plan to get there early, don't forget to bring your boat lights and even a torch. I remember once we launched from Coode Street and heading to Matilda Bay in the dark, even with the lights and a hand torch, we nearly hit a post in the middle of the Perth Waters. With the city light reflection off the waters, it wasn't that easy to see.
Good luck guys!
