wont be me in vic...but im taking my daughter out on thursday for a fish. last time i took her she out fished me :( :( . might try for some pinkies.....seem to be heaps of them about...and maybe a bream or 6.

Will not be me to catch the first bream of 20003 went fishing on Jan 1st all I got was 1 lousy blowie on a hard bodied lure:o :o

My first fish for the year was a blowie as well.Down at Madora Bay WA.

Snuck out of bed early ,with the rod that was hidden in the boot of the car.Headed for the beach with a few softs,trying for a few whiting or herring and there were blowies everywhere.Let them chew a couple then put the rod away.

The year can only get better.Hopefully.

Woohhoo I might by the first person to catch a bream in the new year :)
Camped down near Alexander Bridge on the Blackwood River and got up at five (for a bit of a chunder :) ) in the morning and watched 30 odd bream feeding around the snags I tried everything but only hooked one at 26cm (were plenty! bigger) but they would take a thing after that.
