GSP Colours?

i was reading up on a study done by scientific anglers when they were creating the colours for their dacron backing. They found that orange is the most visible colour in a freshwater 'environment' and fluoro yellow was the most visible in a saltwater 'environment'. Since that most of our bream fishing (well at least here in victoria) is done in the saltwater and brackish sections of our rivers (which look similer to that of a freshwater environment) then wouldnt it be safe to say that orange would be a top colour for fireline or other gsp lines?? and if so does anybody make them in that colour or is it up to us to dye it??

One of my friends reckons he saw fluro red fireline at Big W. Not sure I believe him though.

If you're keen to change the colour of your line, wait till it gets a bit worn and white then get a fluro orange permanent marker, cut a slit in the nib and push the line into it. Then you just have to run the line through the slit. I was doing it for a while but can't be bothered anymore. One serious session and you have to colour it again.
