when rigging soft plastics which way do you put them? with single curl tail grubs i rig them tail down (i don't do that with squidgies). i do this because the tail doesn't snag the hook as much. which is more life like? i tried experiment with an atomic shad and i found that tail wouldn't swim if it was upside down. anyway how do you guys rig them?

90% of the time I have the curl going the same way as the hook - if I'm being lazy, rather than change to a new plastic if I have a slight tear in one, I'll just turn it over in the opposite direction....
With T-tails, I rig them with the point of the tail away from the hook - it really doesn't matter as much which way up you rig them as there is only a very subtle difference.
Up or down, I think it's got a hell of a lot more to do with how you fish them - but thats another story :D
Cheers,
