removing etec cover

Hey everyone
just need a little help.
I can't take the cover off my etec.
I unclip all the cover clips and it still wont lift off am i doing something wrong?
my manual doesnt seem to be of much help.

if youve undone all the clips, and the motor is new new, the seal is probably simply tight and sticky . . . . .
