What sounders are you using

Hey guys just wondering what sounders are you using at the moment.. Ive only got a cheap humminbird at this stage think its the 210 max.. looking 2 up grade before next years comps so thought id start sussing some out know

Hey mate,

I recently purchased myself a Humminnbird 931c. I have only set it up on my boat haven't got as far as getting out on the water. So far it looks the goods, it has a 7" colur screen and is GPS capable. I did buy it from the states tho which saved me a few dollars.

I'm pretty sure i did, i guess the only thing you may want to take into consideration is the warranty. I paid for extra warranty but it wasn;t much extra. The place i got it from was Fish on marine, they were very good to deal with and quiet helpful. It's worth looking into as the savings can be awesome.

Coat, by no means am I an expert at these things and I'm guesing that there are some with pricey units on their boats, but for me, I recently purchased an Eagle Fishmark 420DF. Its a black and white with a 5" screen but its a great unit at under $350.00 delivered ex USA. Its a dual frequency sounder with temp and speed tranducer / sensor. I like the idea of seeing what water temps are doing. This unit is mounted at the helm on my tiller steer stacer.

At the bow, mounted on my casting deck, is an old Lowrance X25, that I bought eons ago as my first sounder. Its pixel count is low, hence everything is blocky, but it serves its purpose.

I'm considering purchasing another sounder/plotter combo to replace the aging lowrance, but thats some time off yet,;)
