minn kota charger query

Hi

Ive recently had to return a faulty MK 110P portable charger under warranty, only to be told this model is no longer availble.

I have been offered an MK106a as a replacement.

Below are specs for both

mk110p-

3 stage charge- bulk, absorbtion maintanance

10 amp output

for use with 50-130amp/hr batteries

MK106a

2 stage charge- bulk, maintanance

6 amp output

suitable for 40-80amp/hr batteries.

Im running i think 120ah battery, will the MK 106a even be suitable for my application, being rated at 40-80ah?

Also, will i bee missing out on much with only the 2 stage charge.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Definantly don accept any thing that is not as what you had, legally they have to replace with some equal or better they can give you something worse... stand up and make some noise about it, and youll be suprised how quickly they change their tune, use the secret word... "lawyers" lol
