At Long Last - i caught fish on SP

Well finally i have caught some fish on the SP. After heaps of time i have now caught some fish and as soon as you catch one, the confidence make them work!

I found the Squidgys work well in jelly prawn, and when it was getting dark the Killer tomato.

The only problem is i took 2 of every colour i had in my kayak. I didn't catch bream but snapper(pinkys) and they KILLED them each fishing ripped the SP to bits!!!!


(also caught 2 squid) well never landed them but they loved the dropping SP(jelly prawn)

Where did you go and how did the kayak handle (especially when fighting fish).

I'm haven't taken mine out on the water yet but I'm itching to do so....if only i could find a couple of free hours!!

last week i took mine out from the Cerberus wreck at Black Rock. I was using bait and didnt do any good. Havent tried the s/p's in the bay itself although I did land some squid using yozuri jigs.

Im hoping to go again on the weekend(weather permitting).I'm not sure where to try though. Either off Beaumaris mussel farm or hit Station Pier or Docklands. If you would like to join me let me know.
