I read a similar thing about the Yozuri squid jigs. Apparently the factory or whatever in Japan said something like:
"Unless you order $1 million worth of stuff at a time we won't supply you".

I recently ordered 8 Yo-zuri snap shads from Campbells having heard the line is ending and using them with great success. If you want some I suggest to be very quick.

Hi Guys,
I actually heard from my local tackle shop, about 4 months ago, that they are closing down their Japanese manufacture but will move things to China. Top quality stuff, lets hope that doesn't change.
Cheers,

Snap shads are still available (I picked up 2 orange ones last week) at some stores...they are even getting some more ordered in...the guy I spoke too said there's no problem getting them in...aparently!
If you speak to Shane or Greg at Campbell's, they have a new shipment of Snap Shads and will have some new ones in soon.
HTH.

Sounds good, Ive had my best success with the little buggers and the stock pile is starting to run low. Goto say the hooks are pretty useless though, very sharp but they break after a bit.

ill second that, change the original stR8 away
lost a good (kilo+) fish with 1m of my feet a few weeks back on the original hooks when it straightened
did the same anbout a month ago
always takes me about 1 decent fish lost on original hooks to change over to chemicals....
Pretty true Matt,
I usually swap them for VMC Black trebles. Anything else tends to be too heavy.
