View Full Version : Competition for September Thanks to Trout Bums
It's great to see so many new companies coming on board and I'm pleased to announce the first of several competitions thanks to AEG (Angling Expedition Group) http://www.aegmedia.com/about.html.
With the trout season in WA just about to open, I thought I'd kick this one off early and give everyone the heads up.
What we want to see are your best trout pics. The top 2 winners will take home a copy of Trout Bum Diaries Volume 2 (New Zealand).
Thanks to AEG for coming one board with our monthly give aways.

Taken in Nov 2004, nothing to brag about but considering its the only trout I've ever caught, what the heck may as well post it. Challenge-Queen is a trout queen indeed and has had heaps better ones than this.

Rylan's first ever and he wasn't going to loose it, taken the same day as Scooter's.
Can't wait for Harvey to look as good as it did this day, check out the dandelions growing right down into the water, heaps of tucker in that.

Kinda relates to trout as it was taken at a trout farm... ;)
Probably taken about 26yrs ago and shows that the old man started me early...

Every other trout related pic I have has a pile of necked trout stacked in front of me... Prob not a good look these days even though they are introduced.

Hey Stu,
I don't know how long both trout were but the rainbow was 5.2 kg's and a brown was 4 kg's. Both were captured on bream gear and metal spinners......

Sadly the resized photo dosn't show the red spots on the fish as well as the original:mad:
Also sadly i wasn't allowed to bring home the Hardy fly rod i was using, would have to be the best rod i have cast ever, spose with the price tag should be too:D
