Hi,

I regularly fish sand flats about half a metre to a metre deep with soft plastics but now i want to build up a hard body collection and i was wandering wat would be the best option with hard bodies in these kind of waters.

Cheers

P.S. im land based

G'day Monkey

I like Rapala F5 Minnows for that kind of work, they've got the best action & come in some great colours too...

Have I said I love Rapalas B4?:D

The River2Sea lures have been mentioned on the site a number of times. Really good lure for flats fishing.

Hi Monkey, not if you can get them where you are yet, but Eddys Lures have recently released a new bream lure, it is ideal for the style of bream fishing your talking about. And are Aussie made and Owned.

Monkey,

The Walpole comp was won in exactly the type of water you describe.

The resounding lure was the Halco Scorpion 52DD and 68Std in Chrome Gold / Orange Back. They can be hard to find, we have a couple in stock.

The River 2 Sea Shed in Gold has also been popular lately.

Hi Monkey
Another good lure an worth a try is the Smilin Jack Raw Prawn.
These lures resemble a prawn and have big RED eyes that look backwards. Thay will take bream or flathead & are reasonably priced.

Hi Matty, the new bream lures not on web site, it's only just been released, it has a body length of 4cm not including the clear lexan bib and comes fitted with chem sharpened trebles. with a max depth of around 1m depending on line, cast, troll etc etc.
