I think I saw this line in 1lb. Is it any good, or is the not strength and tangles bad? I was planning to go ultra finesse for a few evil bream that were laughing at me. Cheers!

hey all i know about crystal fireline is that it casts a mile, feels like youve thrown ya lure off until you start to reel it in!

hey guys yeah i bought a spool of the 1lb and the first few trips i had troubles with it tangling around guides but i think i was putting too much into the cast trying to cast it as far as i could.
i've also been told that i could tie this line straight to the lure, but found that the fish would still spook so i started using 3lb yamatoyo famell leader and my catch rate has skyrocketed.

I've got a spool of the 1lb which i use for surface fishing. i've had no problems with it and rate it very well.

i love the stuff nad it is the only braid i use now for by bream.
3 or 4 pound for plastics.
6pound for hbs
and 1 or 2 for surface or shallow running hbs. eg smith camion and bassday suggerminnow

hi... try and flick the sp'a little smoother .. becouse the thin fireline being soft it doesnt have enough time to unloop and wraps around the guides.. it hapens when u fish very light and intend to flick harder .. it hapened to me with 4lb Nitlon braid until ive realised what i was doing wrong .. no more tangles since .. i hope is help for u as tangles dont end up cheap since u dont want knots..
