My Fav, natural shad colours.

Hi Drew,
In WA I've found that brighter lures are better. Pinks, that sort of thing.
I'm a realfan of the JG and Gold Oargee's in clear water. I dont mind the Gold/Orange Scorpions either!

I'm a fan of the more 'natural' colours in clear water, the Greens and Browns....
For those of you that fish the flats in really clear water, you may want to try out the Atomic 2" single tail in Amber - sorta looks like a common crustacean....... ;)
And.... I always drop the leader size, 6lb or under. If I can see it I reckon the fish can too :)
Cheers
yeah i've found on the flat, that i have to use 2lb vanish , even 3 lb scaries them and they perfer the paddles rather than the single tails in skinny water ........... but for sum strange reason i get'em quite frequently (not refusing) the 2' double tails from atomic or other brands.........
craws work well to on water no deeper than a foot or so
especially watermellon
any other thoughts

In clear water I have had success on lots of colours. The old favourites like the gold/orange, pink/yellow scorpions, and in the perth bream comp' Cole picked up a couple in the flouro green, very bright. The gold and purple oargees have worked well for me as well. As gor softies well I always stick to natural colours and sometimes something like a muscadine slider or a soft plastic with a brown/chartuese blend works well.
