Stupid Cheap Glues on Bibs

Man This sucks.
I have been really lucky recently as i have not broken any bibs on lures and have heard heaps of stories about it happening.
Anyways, i got out the other day and the bib on my Oargee comes loose, and then the Bib on my stealth Attack comes off in the water. I dont even know what it was coz i wasn't snagged (might have nudged a rock):D
I have heard that you can get replacement bibs for attacks! Has BM still got some?
It sucks as it was only the second time id used the lure and it hasnt even got a mark on it yet!:mad:
What should i do!

Geoff had a couple left at the shop, I suggest you call him and see if there actually is (if not call PM me I have 1 at home). Ive just replaced 1 of mine, I also just dabbed a dot of SupaGlue on the edges of 5 Gold OarGs which were all loose and unusable, they are all back in top order now which is great as some came loose in 30 minutes. Also some of the lads have been using the lids of plano boxes to replace some bibs, and they have worked quite well.

A word of caution on the use of most glues on Polycarboate bibbed lures. GLUE EATS BIBB'S. The practice is prehistoric and should be abandoned. Check the bib's on all Halco lures, they have their patented pin system which eliminates the use of glue. Just be very carefull how much glue you use. Richo is about right with a drop here and there.

What aboout Aryldite?

Most epoxy resin's work fine. I epoxy'ed a foam box with no ill effects. Just don't use too much and it should be ok.
