The squidgie Jig Heads are great but i discovered the worst thing about them. I was fishing but kept catching tailor and losing jig Heads.
So I moved to another spot and the color (pink) didnt seem right and i only had one jig head. So i had to rip of and ruin my pink squidgie to put on a silver fox. I suppose it was worth it because i caught a bream 5 cast's latter.

I take it you mean the little spring on top that makes the squidgie stay in place was the problem?

If you remove the plastic carefully this is not a major problem.
(ie you will definately be able to use the plastic again)
As you unthread the plastic squeeze the head part (put your two fingers where the eyes on the fish would be) so that the littlehook part doesn't rip the plastic.

To save time, I leave one rigged jighead for each of the colours I own in the plastic packets with rest of the squidgies and I have had absolutely no problems with rust so far. I do however rinse each rigged soft plastic and allow them to dry before putting them away.

Lizardboy is right, just squeeze gently from the sides and push up away from the little keeper wire and the body can be removed easily enough without tearing up.

Hey guys,

Do you find the hooks a bit soft???

I haven't had to really test the strengths of the hooks on a fish yet, but I know they can be bent relativey easily (the smaller jigheads will bend before 6lb fireline snaps), but for the water I fish (not to many snags) they are fine....cheap, pretty sharp and they have the keeper hook (very important ). If I was fishing around oyster leases and had to use a locked drag then I might go for a different brand. I have recently bought some gamakatsu's I reckon they are a lot sharper than the squidgee hooks, but they too expensive for my everyday use.
