Hi Guys

Looking at sound systems for the new boat.

So far it's the Clarion CMD4A with IPOD interface.

What have you guys got and is there better than what I'm looking at?

Cheers

Greg

just get a MP3 tuner then you dont need to worry about the ipod getting wet or droped just turn it on then turn it off no leads hanging around

Yeah I had an MP3 player in my punt with 80W marine speakers and that did the job. 200+ tracks on one disk is enough

This is something I wouldnt mind doing when my punt gets fitted out. I assume you need good weather proofing on wires and such? Would like to see what you finally end up getting Greg.

I have had in previous boats tho's cheaper white ones you get from bias and whittworths but never had much luck with them lasting. This is why I'm looking for better.

I saw an add for this unit where they held a shower head over the head unit showing how water proof it was.........

Speaking to the audio guys here and they will change the cables and shrink wrap all connections for me.:)

I'll let you guy know how i go.
