Are you just trolling? (And I don't mean the fishing method)

Haha you guys

anyway the last time i used live bait for bream was at claremont jetty where you can catch these little 'guppies' or whatever they are called. around 10 cm long and these thing look killers for live bait.

anyway we sent fishy after fishy down ther eonly to pull them up each time without a head or tail or both only after a few seconds...no hookups at all. we figured it out when we saw one swimming around frantically for dear life being chased by 15 blowies :/

No worries we had fun catching thos elittle fish anyway on bare hooks and bread. anyway, back to the point. I dont really know if that rig is effective on breamm...sure it'l hook up something but bream....better just go use artificials i reckon

Other species of fish do get a mention on the site from time to time ... but considering the site name is Bream Master ... Bream are the topic of 99% of the conversation on here ;)

Perhaps make clear what species you're targeting with live bait and the conditions you'll be fishing in (location, etc.). Then, someone may be able to possibly help you with your query :)

Careful guys, we can't afford to be eletist on this site....
Bream_Spinner, yes the rig you mention here will work and you can vary the depth to keep the bait just of the bottom. I generally use balloons tied with cotton as a float. You can ballast these with water as well so they hold in the water as well.
