Short of using something like loctight, there is not a lot you can do. Is it something that you could get fixed under warranty??

thank god I am not the only one - I to have the same reel and the same problem. I was told by the tackle store to keep using and see if it continues. Well, it is continiuing so I will have to take it back for a replacement.
Do you still have Warranty on it

no i dont think it can be fixed under warranty
I've had a similar problem with my Pfleuger and fixed it with a small amount of superglue.

I have a couple of Regal Z's and one of them has this problem. Checking the nut has become a habit.

I imagine that thoroughly degreasing the threads, at least the outer 5 mm or so, then applying a small smear of non-acid cure RTV silicone sealant to that section before you did it up would provide a secure means of retaining the nut, without the future maintenance issues of superglue (cyanoacrylate).

yeah my regal x does the same so it looks like the problem is throughout the regal range, i too have to continually keep winding it back up.
